Fashion comes in every aspect of life: clothing, hair, behavior, creation, style or decoration. Everyone has their style of doing these things.
Earlier, people only had friends and family who could give styling advise, but now to enhance your personal style there are style coaches online and offline. It is very important to really connect with your own self or your purpose and what you wish to reflect to others. Whether you think it is shallow or not, it is a fact that within 3 seconds people form an opinion of others based upon what they are wearing. So, it is important to make sure that you are reflecting the best version of yourself.
Styling and fashion are attributes of body type, color, culture, trend, weather and several other elements. Styling is a creative skill that will enhance your personality.
In this article I will talk about intimate weddings as now the Big Fat Indian Wedding has shrunk into a lean intimate wedding, thanks to the pandemic.
There are a few styling options which people can consider for intimate weddings. Some styling tips for groom & bride, that I can suggest especially for grooms-to-be, is to go for lighter fabrics, as they are easy to handle and soft on the skin.
This season your play with colours should be gentle. One can go for lighter fabrics with pastel tone (pastel green, pastel brown, baby blue, turquoise, mint, lilac, violet, pastel tone of yellow, pink etc.,) which is a rich summer option that gives a feeling of luxury and exclusivity, which every groom & bride desires.
Mix and Match it with Short Kurta and a jacket on it of a different shade along with a trouser or polo pants to compliment it. Also, you can go for prints as they add most amount of Fun and Glam to any outfits. Pair it with bold footwear and a turban to complete your look.
For those attending weddings too, it would work best if you pick up lemon-shade shirts, trousers and kurtas. It would be more comfortable in summer as well as make a style statement. Style this with stripes, checks, Aztec, tropical and lots of funky prints that are easily available on online and offline customisation stores.
Similarly, one tip I would like to give to Brides to be is that dress based on the venue that you are getting married in. So, if you are getting married at home shop something light and comfortable that you can easily carry instead of the heavy lehenga.
A lot of people might advise you to not spend big money since it is an intimate wedding but honestly, I do not agree with this as this is the Day when you are getting married. So, opt for something that makes you feel really special. Just keep the tones low, as in a small gathering, bold colours look jarring.
